ACID XPress 5 is a free popular music creation tool. It is a free version of ACID Pro with a 10 tracks limit. It can be hardly compared with Pro version or ACID Music Studio, as there are restrictions in every second menu point. Besides, this program doesn’t support VST and DirectX. But in spite of these things, these restrictions won’t disturb undemanding users, because with ACID XPress you can easily create simple tracks and compositions. ACID software is an amazing tool for producing, arranging, and editing loop-based music. The power of the application stems from its ability to take any audio loop and make it fit into the tempo of a project. You can use ACID software record instruments and vocals, create songs, remix tracks, develop music beds, score videos, embed soundtracks into video footage, and develop music for Web sites and Flash animations. The Integrated "Show Me How" tutorials guide you along the music creation process beginning to end. This software has intuitive "pick, paint, and play" interface that makes easier your own music creation. Simply pick the sounds you like, build your mix and enjoy your music. ACID XPress is the free version and doesn't include all the samples (music loops) from the full version, but eight free music loops can be downloaded each week to get you started. This product allows you to simply select audio loops from an explorer window, drag them onto the program’s track view, and arrange them into multiple-track projects.
